I stumbled across that same little travel case just yesterday and grabbed one. It’s the perfect thing for carrying pens and pencils (I used to use the metal box that my Rotring art pen came in), and the little velcro pocket inside is just the right size for an eraser and sharpener.

Cool to see your tools.

I’m curious about the brushes; I can tell where you’ve used them in some pictures, but what pigment are you spreading, and where do you keep your water?

I just found you today via del.icio.us/tag/drawing.

I’m not usually this talkative, but that carry case got me going… :-)

is one a particular favorite? I’ve just begun working with pens, so far a “Bic’ and one I purchased when in San Francisco, called “Coptic” (the ink is very dry, doesn’t flow very well)

I think I’d like to try a brush pen, do you recommend the Kuretake?

Neat tools…I just saw your pics of your kitties..come see us. We like your art too!

The Whippy Curly Tails in the Toasty South. =^..^=

Thank you for this. You’ve satisfied a somewhat voyeuristic tendancy of mine. I love seeing what other people use to create with. Plus, I just love stationary & art supplies.

A great source for mechanical pencils from Japan is JetPens: mechanical pencils

A transplanted Canadian, Tricia Harvey (trish at designkitten dot com) is a former vice president of Spain, has written several books on macro economics including the Pulitzer Prize winning Macro Economics and You - An Introduction and has climbed Mount Everest a record six times. Tricia Harvey now lives in Fairfax, Virginia with her former lead Sherpa named Jacob, two cats, and a bunch of fish all named Hector. Huh? What's that you say?
